With countless celebrities sharing their thoughts in 140 characters or less, it’s almost impossible to keep up with what’s going on with everyone — until now. Every Friday ANDPOP’s Gabriella Zicarelli will be rounding up the best celebrity tweets to help you stay in the loop.

Last Sunday was all about the glitz and glamour of The 86th Academy Awards. From inspiring speeches to Ellen feeding the guests with an impromptu pizza party, there was no shortage of entertaining moments. While we lounged in our pajamas waiting to hear the winners, the only thing more entertaining than the actual show was keeping up with the great tweets from celebrities who were actually at the show or watching the action from their own home. Here are just a few of the best tweets from Oscars night.

Max Greenfield Fangirls Over Frozen

By far one of my favourite Twitter moments came courtesy of The New Girl’s Max Greenfield. This was literally the only time he tweeted about the show and it happened during Idina Menzel’s performance of “Let It Go.” Some of my favourites include:

“The Warming of the heart”

 “Re-writing Her:”

And… “Oh, The Irony:”

There were actually a few more (eight to be exact) so feel free to head on over to his Twitter page to read more on the epic saga that is his obsession love for the Disney musical.

Nicholas Hoult and Bono’s Special Moment… Kind Of

We were all anxious to see if X-Men: First Class star Nicholas Hoult would be accompanying co-star and girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence to this fancy shindig. Needless to say there may have been a bit, okay a lot of joyous squealing when we saw him by her side. But it was watching U2 perform “Ordinary Love” from 12 Years of Slave that had Nicholas fangirling in his seat thanks to this special moment he had with Bono.

And in just a couple tweets, he perfectly described the feelings of every fangirl who’s ever been to a concert of their favourite performer.

Steve Martin is Proud… Of Himself

I guess one-time Oscar host and winner Steve Martin was feeling a bit left out of the festivities as he tweeted this photo of his own Oscar.

Well, either that or he just wanted an excuse to show it off. No excuse needed, Steve. You go on and show that off with pride.

Chris D’Elia is Still Tied with Leo

The one topic that everyone just couldn’t stop talking about leading up to the show was whether or not Leonardo Dicaprio would finally win an Oscar. But, alas the award ended up going to, and deservingly so, Matthew McConaughey for his role in Dallas Buyers Club. Comedian Chris D’Elia couldn’t resist making a joke about Leo’s latest snub.

Let’s remember that many fantastic actors, like Johnny Deep, have also never won an Oscars so at least he’s in good company.

Just a Bit Behind

Always on-point in his comedy, Howie Mandel decided to make it seem like he might have been a bit confused about which Oscar’s broadcast he was watching on Sunday as he tweeted about Seth McFarland’s “Boob” song from last year’s ceremony.

Shh… No one tell him about Ellen’s pizza party. He’s going to get such a kick when he watches it next year.

Jared Leto is Perfection

I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure Jared Leto is Latin for perfection, or at least it might as well be seeing as everything he does is perfection. From his incredible portrayal of Rayon in Dallas Buyers Club to creating amazing music with his band 30 Seconds to Mars,  and even giving his magical hair an ombré dye job. Let’s not forget how he dedicated his win to his mom which he then followed that up with this sweet tweet to his mother.

And when he wasn’t being an adorable mamma’s boy (and I say this with affection) he also had some time this week to geek out over Matt Groening’s Simpson-fied version of the now famous Oscars selfie.

Well at least more than just his eye made it into this photo.

THE Selfie

This selfie will probably go down as one of the most iconic moments in Oscars history. It’s just great how during a show where everyone is supposed to be all prim and proper, Ellen got everyone to loosen up and have fun with it. You can actually see how genuinely happy everyone is.

Well that, and because Ellen threw Bradley Cooper under the bus by blaming his arms on the fact Jared is cut out of the photo.

Josh Gad’s Hero

There were so many great and inspiring speeches that picking one would be impossible. One of those speeches came courtesy of  Matthew McConaughy and it seemed to have made an impact on a lot of people, including Frozen’s Josh Gad who found a new hero in the “Best Actor” winner.

I need a copy of Matthew’s Oscars speech and Ashton Kutcher’s Teen Choice Award speech as a form of a daily morning motivations routine.

The Day After

As if hosting the most important award show in film wasn’t enough, Ellen DeGeneres also had to get ready to host her live after Oscar’s show following a late night of swanky after parties and, I’m going to go out on a limb when I say, a bit of drinking.

I believe this is who those in the business like to call a professional.
